Setting the Scene
- SWOSU Women's Basketball welcomes nationally ranked Lubbock Christian to the Pioneer Cellular Event Center on Monday evening, with tipoff set for 5:30 pm
- LCU, most-recently ranked No. 18 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll and No. 15 in the D2SIDA poll, becomes the seventh ranked opponent to visit the PCEC, with SWOSU holding a record of 3-3 in those prior contests
- SWOSU brings a five-game win streak into the matchup after a 96-70 victory over Southeastern on Saturday improved the Lady Bulldogs to 2-0 in Great American Conference play
- This is the 12th time under head coach

- This will be the third straight season that SWOSU and Lubbock Christian have met, with the home team winning each prior meeting

- The Lady Chaps defeated Our Lady of the Lake on Saturday to improve to 7-2 on the year and snap a skid that saw both of their defeats come in the prior three games
- LCU has faced a challenging schedule that includes an exhibition victory over NCAA Division I SMU and losses to then-No. 1 Central Missouri and Tarleton State
- Three-year starter Olivia Robertson leads the Lady Chaps with 14.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per game while Allie Schulte has added 13.1 points and 3.9 assists per game
- Head Coach Steve Gomez built LCU into an NAIA powerhouse program and has continued that success since transitioning to NCAA Division II, where he led the Lady Chaps to the 2015-16 National Championship
