RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. –
SWOSU Women's Basketball junior forward
Landry Allen has been named the Great American Conference Player of the Week once again, earning her 10th and final weekly honor of the 2025-26 season, the league office announced Monday.
Allen claimed the award in 10 of the 15 eligible weeks this season. SWOSU totaled 11 weekly honors overall, with Elle Papahronis earning the program's first nod back in November.
In the final week of the regular season, Allen averaged 21 points, 7.5 rebounds, four blocks, and 1.5 steals in matchups against East Central and Southeastern.
Her second block against Southeastern was historic, as it broke the GAC single-season blocks record. Allen finished the year with 119 total blocks, surpassing the previous record of 115 — and doing so in eight fewer games. She recorded five blocks in the season finale to secure the mark.
Allen closes the season averaging 15.4 points per game (8th in the GAC), 6.8 rebounds per game (7th), and 2.2 steals per game (3rd). Nationally, she ranks second in Division II with 4.8 blocks per game — more than double any other player in the conference.
