PITTSBURG, Kan. – Six qualified Bulldogs got reps at the 11th Annual Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic over the weekend prior to the start of the outdoor season coming up in late February.
 
Freshmen Haley Baalson, Canon Russell, and Katie Lewis made their collegiate track & field debuts. Russell finished with the best placing of any of the six SWOSU team members in attendance.
 
The outdoor season officially begins February 27-28 in Conway, Arkansas at the Hendrix Invitational where the full team will compete.
