PITTSBURG, Kan. – SWOSU Track & Field wrapped up the 2026 regular season Sunday at the Pitt State Tune-Up.
Emerson Sours set a new SWOSU record after running a 1:01.88 in the 400m and finished 18th overall.
Makenlee Shieldnight narrowly missed the program record in the 1500 meters, posting a time of 5:07.58 to finish 14th overall.
Canon Russell recorded personal bests in both the 1500m and 800m, moving into SWOSU's top-10 all-time lists in both events.
Madison Radke also set a new personal best in the 800m, clocking a 2:30.42 to move into seventh on the program's all-time list.
The meet marked SWOSU's fourth competition in as many weeks. The Bulldogs will now have a week off before competing at the 2026 GAC Championships, set for April 29-May 1 in Searcy, Arkansas.
