FORT SMITH, Ark. – SWOSU Women's Basketball senior point guard
Averi Zinn was named a Second Team All-Great American Conference selection on Wednesday night at the awards banquet preceding the conference tournament.

It's Zinn's third straight All-GAC honor, improving upon back-to-back honorable mentions in her first two years with the team. Her 11.3 points per game ranked 15th in the GAC, while her 3.3 assists per game was fifth. Defensively, she swiped 47 steals in 28 games – good for sixth in the league. Zinn finished eighth in the league in minutes, averaging 33.3 minutes of floor time.
Academically,
Libbi Zinn was one of six recipients of the GAC Elite Scholar Award – given to those holding the highest GPA in the conference with at least 70 hours of completed classwork.
Also announced were the league's Academic Honor Roll members, earned by holding a minimum 3.5 GPA with one year of full-time college residency completed. Averi, alongside

SWOSU Women's Basketball gets its postseason underway on Friday (March 7) against Southeastern Oklahoma State in the quarterfinals of the GAC Tournament. Tipoff for the game is set for noon inside Southside Arena in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
