PITTSBURG, Kan. – SWOSU Track & Field competed in its second and final indoor meet over the weekend at the 10th Annual Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic, hosted by Pitt State.
The Bulldogs got two indoor tune ups in before the start of the official outdoor season coming up at the end of February. SWOSU will compete at six meets between then and early April, in lead up to the Great American Conference Championships held April 30-May 2 this year in Shawnee.
Both
Marleigh West and
Jessica Kern improved their throwing distances between the first and second indoor meets. West finished 25th with a 12.06m throw.
Madison Radke (1:39.64) shaved off nearly a second from her first 600 yard run back in December.
Deuna Miller made her 2025 debut with showings in the 60m, 200m, and the Long Jump.
Daigan Miller (32nd; 5:25.31) also competed for the first time as a Bulldog in the one-mile run.
