GREENWOOD, Ind. – A total of seven student-athletes from the SWOSU golf program were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections on Tuesday.

Earning academic recognition was Cameron Gallagher, Lukas Hendricks, Sutton McMillan, and Anders Strand on the men's side and Ashlyn Acosta, Drew Dodgion, and Rebecca Lau for the women. Hendricks, Strand, Dodgion, and Lau all garner all-district status for a second straight year.

Academic All-District selections were based on combined academic and athletic qualifications. Golf nominees must have competed in 70% of the team's events and hold a minimum of a 3.50 cumulative GPA. They must also be at least a sophomore.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
