GREENWOOD, Ind. – Delaney York and Marleigh West of SWOSU Track & Field were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections on Tuesday. Both earn the distinction for a second consecutive year.

Academic All-District selections were based on combined academic and athletic qualifications. Athletically, student-athletes needed to be ranked in the top-50 of the region in at least one event. York does so as a member of the 4x400 relay team, West in shot put.

In addition to the athletic qualifications, award winners must also hold a minimum of a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher and be at least a sophomore.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

CSC Golf selections will all be announced later in the month of June.
