SHAWNEE, Okla. – SWOSU Track & Field competed in the final regular season meet at the Ford Mastin Twilight at Oklahoma Baptist University last week where three set personal bests including
Marleigh West who broke her own program record in shot put.
West recorded a 12.60 meter throw in Shawnee, beating her mark of 12.50 meters she set on March 23 at the Bethel Invitational.
In the 1500m,
Madison Radke lowered her best time by four seconds for a new PR.
Natesa Ford's 36.40 meter discus throw was her farthest discus attempt as a Dawg by almost four meters.
The team also had a few top three finishes in multiple events. SWOSU's 4x100m relay team placed second,
Natalie Freeman came in second as well in the triple jump, and West's new program record in shot put was good for third.
The GAC Championships await the Bulldogs now. The conference meet will begin on May 1 in Searcy, Arkansas and spans through May.
