GREENWOOD, Ind. – Three student-athletes from SWOSU Track & Field have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections, announced this week by the organization.

Breegan Barnett, Jaci Shelton, and Marleigh West each earned the academic recognition. West is now a three-time All-District selection, while Shelton and Barnett receive honors for the first time. 

Academic All-District selections were based on combined academic and athletic qualifications. Athletically, student-athletes needed to be ranked in the top-50 of the region in at least one event. In addition to the athletic qualifications, award winners must also hold a minimum of a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher and be at least a sophomore.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
