ADA, Okla. – SWOSU Cross Country ran at the 2024 Great American Conference Championships on Saturday morning where they finished 10th as a team.
Ouachita won the race with three top 10 finishers. Oklahoma Baptist's Sophia Strange was the fastest runner for a second straight year with a time of 18:22.
Madisan Workman led the team's finishers with a personal record of 22:02, followed by
Makenlee Shieldnight with a time of 22:25. Workman and Shieldnight both shaved off over 30 seconds compared to their finishes at last year's meet.
The GAC Championship closes out the 2024 season for the SWOSU Cross Country team.
