DALLAS, Texas – SWOSU cross country made the trip to Dallas Baptist over the weekend to run in the Old Glory Gallup.
The field was the largest of the season for the Dawgs. 33 teams competed including numerous other GAC members. SWOSU came in at 28th place.
In the penultimate race of 2023,
Isabel Sanchez was the leading finisher for SWOSU. Sanchez has had the best time for the Bulldogs in three of four races this year.
Delaney Ferguson was close behind her, crossing the finish line about 10 seconds after.
This competition ends the 2023 cross country regular season. The GAC Championship awaits the Bulldogs on October 21.
