RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – SWOSU Cross Country ran at the Great American Conference Championships on Saturday morning, hosted by Arkansas Tech. They finished 10th as a team.
East Central won the race, followed by last year's champion Ouachita Baptist. Oklahoma Baptist's Sophia Strange took home the top spot individually with a time of 17:33.
For the second time this season, freshman
Delaney Ferguson was SWOSU's first runner across the finish line. She finished at 21:51, narrowly edging
Madison Radke by one second. The Dawgs first four finishers were separated by just eight seconds.
The GAC Championship closes out the 2023 season for the SWOSU Cross Country team.
