WICHITA, Kan. – SWOSU Track & Field opened the season at the GAC Indoor meet hosted by Oklahoma Baptist over the weekend.
 
The Bulldogs were highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the 3000m by Abigail Lewis and had fifth place finishes from Marleigh West (shotput), Delaney York (400m) and Maicie Brown (1600m).
 
SWOSU's distance medley relay teams also placed right behind each other in second and third, out of the four-team field.
 
SWOSU returns to action on March 12 at the Hendrix Invitational in Conway, Arkansas.
