EDMOND, Okla. – The SWOSU men's golf team competed in a tough field and finished in eighth place out of 20 teams this past Monday-Tuesday at the 2021 Broncho Invitational at Oak Tree East Course in Edmond.
 
Gregor Weck led the way for the Bulldogs, finishing at 10 over and firing an even-par 70 in his final round and finished tied for 13th place.
 
Three shots behind him was Anders Strand and he shot a one-under 69 in his final 18 holes. This round was the only under par round for the Bulldogs throughout the tournament. Kason Cook finished one shot behind Strand as he strung together rounds of 73-76-75 through his rounds on the course.
 
Maryville finished four shots ahead of SWOSU and SWOSU finished one shot ahead of Dallas Baptist. Henderson State finished five shots ahead of the Bulldogs.
 
SWOSU will return to the golf course, March 22-23 at the Washburn Invitational at Topeka Country Club.
