BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – SWOSU Men's Golf had three individuals earn All-Great American Conference honors, announced Sunday night at the GAC Awards Banquet.
Ben Jackson was named Freshman of the Year and earned Second Team All-GAC honors alongside
Conrado Diaz Ermacora, while
Ryan Carlisle was named an All-GAC Honorable Mention selection.
Academically, Carlisle, along with
Otto Heden,
Caspar Graf, and
Sutton McMillan, was named to the GAC Academic Honor Roll, awarded to student-athletes who maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA and have completed at least one year of full-time college residency.
Jackson becomes SWOSU's second GAC Freshman of the Year, joining Stefan Idstam (2014). He recorded four top-20 finishes this season, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Hillcat Classic, where he helped lead the Bulldogs to their first outright team title in a decade. Jackson holds a 73.9 scoring average and is ranked No. 37 in the NCAA Central Region.
Diaz Ermacora, a sophomore, joins Jackson on the Second Team after posting four top-20 finishes of his own. His top performance came at the Skip Wagnon Invitational, where he placed third at nine-under par. He currently ranks No. 29 in the region with a 73.2 scoring average.
Carlisle earns the first All-GAC honor of his career after recording 12th- and third-place finishes this season. He is ranked inside the top 50 in the region with a 74.1 scoring average. His third-place finish came at the Hillcat Classic, where he played a key role in SWOSU's team victory.
The 2026 GAC Men's Golf Championship is currently underway at Forest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The tournament will run through Tuesday, with teams playing a total of three rounds.
