NORMAN, Okla. – The SWOSU Track & Field team returned to action for the first time this spring on Saturday as they competed at the UCO Alumni Classic in Norman.
 
"I'm pleased with how our girls did this past weekend at UCO. Our field events performed really well for the first meet of the year with a few PRs in shot put by Kayleigh Shankle and Hanna Hill," Head Coach Jennifer Johnson said. "Alexis Chao also achieved a new PR in pole vault. After this past weekend I do expect Sienna Collins to surpass our current outdoor school record for the 800 meter dash. It was exciting for me to see where the girls on the track are at now and what we need to work on to improve before outdoor begins!"
