Setting the Scene
- The Lady Bulldogs made it a perfect 4-0 in games following a loss after their most recent 78-57 victory over ECU on Thursday
- The game marks SWOSU's fifth home game of the season, compared to nine contests played away from Weatherford
- Southern Nazarene has won three-consecutive conference games since returning from Christmas Break and four of their last five games dating back to Dec. 6
- In four meetings at the Pioneer Cellular Center as GAC foes, SWOSU has a 3-1 record against SNU with all four games being decided by at least 10 points
- Seven games into the GAC schedule, the Lady Bulldogs hold a 5-2 record in league play and are a perfect 2-0 in league games held in Weatherford and a perfect 4-0 overall including non-conference games played at home
- No make-up date has been set for the SNU game that was postponed last Saturday

The Opponent
Northwestern Okla. St. (3-11, 2-6 GAC)
- NWOSU currently sits tied for ninth place in the GAC standings with East Central at 2-6
- The Rangers are more dangerous at home, as all three of their wins this season have come inside Percefull Fieldhouse where they have posted a .500 record with 3 wins and 3 losses
- NWOSU is on a six-game losing streak dating back past Christmas Break and haven't won a game since December 3 (vs UAM 69-55)
- Kalea King leads the Rangers averaging 15.7 points per game and 3.9 rebounds per game

The Coaches
SWOSU: Kelsi Musick (118-95, 8th season)
- Two-time GAC Coach of the Year, winning back-to-back honors for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons and she has led the Lady Bulldogs to three 20-win seasons
- Musick has coached one All-American and 15 All-GAC selections, including one Player of the Year (Darcie Dick, 2012) and one Freshman of the Year (Hailey Tucker, 2016)
- Musick has led SWOSU to the GAC Tournament Championship games with two GAC Tournament Championships (2012, 2014) and two NCAA Division II Tournament appearances (2013, 2014) to her credit
- In eight seasons at SWOSU, Musick has a career record of 119-95, including a mark of 7-1 against NWOSU
 
Northwestern Okla. St.: Tasha Diesselhorst (3-11, 1st season)
- Coach Diesselhorst  is in her first season as head coach following a nine-year stint at Pond Creek-Hunter (HS) where her team won the Class A state championship in 2014 and finished as the runner-up in 2016
- She graduated and played at Oklahoma Christian, making the NAIA Tournament four times
 
Checking the Standings
- With their latest victory over Ouachita, Harding still remains atop the GAC standings with a perfect 8-0 conference record, while Arkansas Tech sits in second at 7-1 riding a 10-game winning streak
- Henderson State edges SWOSU with an extra win at 6-2, while the Lady Dawgs are a half-game back at 5-2 after weather cancelled their game last Saturday
- Spots five through eight include SE (5-3), OUA (4-4) and SNU (3-4) while UAM is one-spot out of the playoff hunt at 3-5
- ECU and NWOSU hold a 2-6 conference slate while SAU and OKBU sit at 1-7

SWOSU Notes
- The Lady Bulldogs got back on track with their latest victory over East Central and look to go on another winning streak, as the Dawgs haven't won less than two games in a row before losing all season
- Hailey Tucker is coming off the most impressive double-double of her career after scoring 22 points and grabbing a career-high 18 rebounds
- Tucker sits atop the GAC individually in both points (18.3) and rebounds (9.8), just narrowly away from averaging a double-double
- Hayden Priddy scored a second best 20 points for SWOSU against ECU, making it her seventh-straight game with at least 10 points
- Priddy leads the team in floor time, averaging 35.7 minutes per game and has play all 40 minutes of the game four times this season
- Hailey Tucker, Hayden Priddy and Tyra Aska still mark the Lady Bulldog's three double-digit scorers averaging 18.3, 13.9 and 12.5 respectively
- SWOSU leads the conference in scoring offense, averaging 79.3 points per contest
Savannah Gray has scored double figures in back-to-back games for the first time all season after 13 against ECU and 19 against OUA
