- Her high-energy style of play has led the Lady Dawgs to rank in the top four in the nation in scoring, and top ten in three points made in three of the last four seasons
- A great developer of talent, Musick has coached one All-American and 12 All-GAC selections, including one Player of the Year recipient
- Musick has also spent time as an assistant coach at Fresno State, where they won two Western Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles, as well as qualified for the NCAA Division I National Tournament in the 2008-09 season
- Has a record of 6-3 against Ouachita Baptist as the head coach of the Lady Bulldogs, including a record of 3-1 at home with three consecutive victories in over OBU in Weatherford

Ouachita Baptist: Garry Crowder (314-248; 21st season)- In his 37th year of coaching and his 21st year as the head coach at Ouachita Baptist, where he is the Tigers all-time winningest coach
- During his previous seasons, Crowder's teams have either been ranked in the NCAA Division II Top 25 or receiving votes in the poll 11 times and his 2008-09 squad set a new school record with 23 wins
- Prior to coming to Ouachita, he spent 16 years in Arkansas high school basketball, where he won more than 400 games and had a 78.8 winning percentage
