Setting the Stage- SWOSU enters the final week of the season looking to lock up a Great American Conference Tournament berth
- The Lady Bulldogs will take on in-state rival Northwestern Oklahoma State in the penultimate game of the season at 5:30 p.m. inside the Pioneer Cellular Event Center
- Southwestern fell 61-31 to the Lady Rangers earlier this season in Alva, Okla., and will be looking for a better performance this time out

The OpponentNorthwestern Oklahoma State (10-15, 9-10 GAC)- NWOSU comes into the game having lost three of their last four games, but stopped the losing skid with a 69-66 win over Arkansas-Monticello last week
- The Lady Rangers have the bottom-ranked offense in the GAC scoring just 58.9 points per game, the only team in the conference to not average at least 60.0 PPG. Jonae Isaac and Kalea King lead the team with 10.2 PPG each and rank 23rd and 25th respectively in the GAC in individual scoring
- Grabbing 30.4 rebounds per game, the Lady Rangers are 11th in rebounding offense. They hold a -6.6 rebounding margin. Jonna Gregory leads the team with 4.1 RPG, and no player has grabbed 100 rebounds yet this season
- The Lady Rangers take good care of the ball, and are second in the GAC in turnover margin at +2.6. They also have an assist/turnover ratio of .8, the seventh-best mark in the conference
- Kamera Bozeman has been an incredibly efficient shooter for NWOSU. She has gone .575 from the field in 25 games this season

Kelsi Musick is in her sixth season leading the SWOSU women's basketball program
- The two-time GAC Coach of the Year has been the model of consistency, winning GAC Tournament titles in two of the last three years and earning back-to-back NCAA Division II National Tournaments. SWOSU is one of only four teams in the Central Region that have reached the national tournament each of the last two seasons
- Her high-energy style of play has led the Lady Dawgs to rank in the top four in the nation in scoring, and top ten in three points made in each of the last three seasons
- A great developer of talent, Musick has coached one All-American and 11 all-GAC selections, including one Player of the Year recipient
- Musick has also spent time as an assistant coach at Fresno State, where they won two Western Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles, as well as qualified for the NCAA Division I National Tournament in the 2008-09 season

Northwestern Oklahoma State: Eric Bozeman (13-37, 3rd season)- Eric Bozeman was introduced as the head coach of the Lady Rangers basketball program
prior to the 2012-13 season and is in his third season in charge
- Since taking over the program, he has improved the team's total wins each year since NWOSU
made the transition to NCAA Division II competition
- Northwestern has had one player earn GAC Player of the Week honors during his tenure as
head coach with Kamera Bozeman earning the award last season
- Prior to his appointment in Alva, Bozeman has made stops at Henderson State and Southern
Arkansas as the head coach of the men's basketball teams, and he also served as an assistant
coach for NCAA Division I Ole Miss for seven years

Chelsea Bates' 17 points, the Lady Bulldogs took a narrow 52-51 lead into the locker room. SWOSU shot .486 from the field and .600 from beyond the arc in the half
- Vogt and Jones lit up the scoreboard in the second half, combining for 36 points and providing the breathing room needed late in the game to secure the victory
- Vogt finished with a game-high 29 points. Jones was second on the team with 28 points, while Bates chipped in with 24 points of her own
- The Lady Dawgs enjoyed their best shooting performance of the season, going .549 from the floor and .571 from long range
- SWOSU's bench outscored Henderson State's 42-31, thanks in large part to Vogt's monumental effort

Checking the Standings- SWOSU (10-14, 7-11 GAC) moved into a tie for seventh with Henderson State (9-15, 7-11 GAC) as a result of Saturday's game
- Harding (19-5, 15-3 GAC) and Arkansas Tech (19-5, 14-4 GAC) are one and two in the conference, and entered the regional polls in fifth and sixth place respectively
- Southeastern Oklahoma State (18-8, 11-7 GAC) has won three in a row and is now tied with East Central (15-9, 11-7 GAC) for third overall
- UAM (12-11, 10-8 GAC) is in fifth, only a half-game ahead of NWOSU (10-15, 9-10 GAC) in sixth
- Ouachita Baptist (10-15, 6-12 GAC) and Southern Arkansas (8-16, 6-12 GAC) are just behind SWOSU in a tie for ninth and are still in the hunt for a postseason berth
- Southern Nazarene (7-18, 4-15 GAC) remains at the bottom of the standings

SWOSU Notes- The 224 combined points scored by SWOSU and HSU on Saturday afternoon set the GAC record for most points scored in a game. It is also the second-highest scoring game this season in NCAA Division II
- Vogt and Jones both set career highs in points scored with 29 and 28 points respectively. Vogt also set a career high in rebounds, grabbing seven boards against the Lady Reddies
- Saturday was the eighth time a Musick-led team has scored at least 100 points and the third time her team has scored more than 110. Saturday's 116 points were the second-most points scored by a Musick-coached team, with 118 against UAM on Nov. 21, 2013 being the record
