RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Lelu Lamb took home the Great American Conference Goalkeeper of the Week honor for Week Three, the league announced Tuesday. 

Lamb is now the second goalkeeper for the Dawgs to earn the award this season, joining Emma Young, who took home the honor last week. 

She played in both games for the Dawgs this week, including a complete-game shutout against Missouri Western, where she recorded six saves, four of which came in the second half, against the unbeaten Griffons. Against UCO, Lamb entered for the final 21 minutes, allowing one goal while making one save. 

SWOSU (2-1-3) will begin GAC play tomorrow when the Dawgs host Oklahoma Baptist at 5:00 p.m. The match will also serve as the annual Pack the Park, sponsored by Wright Media, featuring free food and scholarship giveaways throughout the match.
