SEARCY, Ark. – SWOSU Soccer took home all four player superlatives on Thursday night at the 2026 Great American Conference Women's Soccer Awards Banquet, while nine Bulldogs earned All-GAC honors.
SWOSU became the first team since 2012 to sweep all major player superlative awards. The Bulldogs remain the only program in Great American Conference history to accomplish the feat, having now done so twice.
Braelee Epp, a second year player from Weatherford, was named the GAC Offensive Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-GAC First Team, both as unanimous selections. One of the leaders of the Bulldog offensive attack, Epp recorded 41 shots and 24 shots on goal, both tied for fourth in the conference. She scored nine goals, tied for the GAC lead with teammate Kinsey Geasland. Four of her goals were game-winners, also tied for the league lead. Epp finished the season with 21 points, second-most in the GAC, and three assists, tied for fifth in the conference. She closed the season on a tear, recording 13 points over her final seven games, scoring five goals and recording all three of her assists during that stretch.
Saoirse Hourigan, a native of Tottenham, England, has now won two superlatives in her two seasons with the Dawgs. After earning GAC Newcomer of the Year honors last season, she returned this year to claim Midfielder of the Year, while again earning a spot on the All-GAC First Team. Hourigan put pressure on opposing defenses as much as anyone in the conference, averaging a league-high 4.54 shots per game. Despite playing in just 13 games, she ranked second in the GAC with 26 shots on goal. She finished the season with two goals and six assists, the second-most in the conference and a team-high for SWOSU.
The GAC Defensive Player of the Year honor went to Sarahi Delgadillo, a junior from Glendale, Arizona, who also found herself on the All-GAC First Team. Delgadillo came onto the scene hot this season, scoring in each of her first two games, including the game-winner against Newman. As the season progressed, she became a key part of a Bulldog defense that allowed just eight goals in conference play, tied for the second fewest in the GAC. Opposing offenses rarely got close to the net, as SWOSU's duo of goalkeepers combined for just 41 saves in conference play, the fewest in the league.
SWOSU has now won back-to-back Newcomer of the Year awards and three of the last four, as first-year forward Kinsey Geasland, from Fort Worth, Texas, took home the honor. She was also named to the All-GAC First Team by unanimous selection. Geasland finished near the top of several offensive categories this season, leading the conference in shots (81), shots on goal (37) and points (22). She tied teammate Braelee Epp for the GAC lead with nine goals and ranked tied for third with four assists. Geasland played and started in all 18 games for the Bulldogs, recording three game-winning goals. One of her biggest performances came in SWOSU's second-to-last game against Oklahoma Baptist, where she totaled four points with a goal and two assists. Her only multi-goal game of the season also came against the Bison earlier in the year.
Senior midfielder Elise LaForge, from Allen, Texas, was also named to the All-GAC First Team, earning her second All-GAC honor after being selected to the Second Team last season. LaForge recorded one assist on the year while helping control possession for the Bulldogs. She played a team-high 1,399 minutes and appeared in and started all 18 games for SWOSU.
Krysta Hook, a junior from Herriman, Utah, was the lone Bulldog selected to the All-GAC Second Team. Hook appeared in 17 games, making eight starts, and finished the season with three goals. She also finished as one eight Elite Scholar Student-Athletes, given to those holding the highest GPA in the conference with at least 70 hours of completed classwork.
Maya Thornburg (defender), Sandi Agudo (defender) and Emma Young (goalkeeper) rounded out the Bulldog recognitions on Thursday evening, with all three earning spots on the All-GAC Honorable Mention Team. For Thornburg and Agudo, it marks the first All-GAC honor of their careers, while Young has now earned Honorable Mention recognition in both of her seasons with the Bulldogs.
SWOSU had 11 placed on the Academic Honor Roll, an honor earned by holding a minimum 3.5 GPA with one year of full-time college residency completed. Those included: Brekyn Cope, Laia Costa, Sarahi Delgadillo, Alison Galindo, Krysta Hook, Saoirse Hourigan, Lexi Johnson, Elise LaForge, Brooklyn Marik, Mikaela Scholl, and Emma Young.
With All-GAC honors now announced, SWOSU turns its focus to the GAC Tournament semifinals. The Bulldogs will face No. 2 seed Ouachita Baptist on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m., with a trip to the conference championship on the line.
