The Bulldogs are back in action this week, opening with one final non-conference matchup with Southwestern Christian before GAC play starts later in the week.

SWOSU enters the matchup with the Eagles at 2-3 after winning its last game against USAO 89-60, the Bulldogs' largest margin of victory since 2022.

This is the fourth meeting all-time with SCU. The Dawgs have won all three previous matchups, most recently in 2015 with an 84-57 victory. The year before, SWOSU earned a narrow three-point win, while the first meeting in 2006 resulted in a dominant 138-67 Bulldog victory.

Ty Frierson leads the way with 13.6 PPG on 38% shooting from the field, but just 16.7% from beyond the arc. Kayden Carter adds 12.8 PPG, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game, which ranks seventh in the GAC. Elijah Jordan contributes 8.4 PPG while grabbing 6.6 rebounds per game; his season high came against MSSU with 17 points on 6–13 shooting.

Kray Rogers has added 7.6 PPG while pulling down a team-high 7.4 rebounds per contest. In the last game, he scored 11 points on 3–6 shooting from deep while also grabbing 10 rebounds for the first double-double of his career, along with five assists and four steals.

As a team, the Dawgs rank last in the conference with just 71.6 PPG on the offensive end, while on the other side of the floor they sit fifth in the league, allowing 68 PPG to opponents. SWOSU is shooting 42.7% from the field, which is one spot better than Harding for the final position in the GAC.

Southwestern Christian enters the matchup at 4-3. They are coming off an 85-71 loss to Oklahoma Christian, and in the game before that they defeated USAO 88-82. SCU comes in averaging 73.9 PPG while allowing 78.1. They shoot 42.6% from the field and just 28.1% from three-point range.
