Braelee Epp broke the deadlock in the 71st minute when she capitalized on a corner kick from
Julie Andersen, sending a shot through the back of the net to give the Dawgs a 1-0 lead. Less than 10 minutes later, the Tigers answered back, converting a free kick opportunity into a header that snuck over the outstretched arms of goalkeeper
Emma Young to even the match at 1-1.
Ouachita nearly stole the win in the closing minutes after a foul on
Riley Massey inside the penalty box set up a late penalty kick in the 87th minute, but the shot ricocheted off the left post to preserve the draw.
