JOPLIN, Mo. – For a third straight week, SWOSU Cross Country was on the course running – this time at the Missouri Southern Stampede where they finished 16th as a team.
In the first 5k of the season and for a third straight meet, it was
Ema Herald (101st overall; 22:02.26) leading Bulldog finishers.
Makenlee Shieldnight jumped from SWOSU's fourth finisher a week ago to SWOSU's second – six seconds faster than
Madison Radke who was third.

The team will get to rest this upcoming week with the DBU Old Glory Gallop next on the schedule on Saturday, October 5.
