Dustin Sanchez (bull riding) was unable to record a score in his three rides in his second trip to the national finals. He was SWOSU's lone cowboy to qualify for the national finals.
Berger (barrel racing) saw the most success out of the four women competitors. She ended 14th in the average and missed qualifying for the short round by a mere one tenth of a second. Her 14.14 second ride in round one had her tied for fifth before times of 14.43 and 14.59 dropped her down in the standings.
Ward (barrel racing) was 27th overall. She had SWOSU's fastest time in the second round when she clocked a 14.36 second ride which was good for T-15 in the round.
Tate (barrel racing) finished 34th in the average after improving in each of her three rounds, capped off by a 14.59 in the final round of the long round.
VandeStouwe (goat tying) bounced back from a tough luck round one no time to record a 9-flat in round two and 6.2 second run in round three. She finished second place in the third round and earned SWOSU 70 team points. Berger's efforts in barrels helped the team obtain 35 more points for a team total of 105.0 at the CNFR.
