SEARCY, Ark. – SWOSU Softball is back on the road to face Harding over the weekend. Games one and two will be played Saturday starting at 3:00 pm, and the series will wrap up Sunday at 1:00 pm.

The Dawgs (9-13, 6-5 GAC) enter the series having dropped their last three league contests. SWOSU fell in the final game of the East Central series last weekend and most recently lost both ends of Tuesday's conference doubleheader to Northwestern.

Despite the setbacks as a late, SWOSU's six league wins still has them fifth in the conference standings entering the week. Harding rests on game ahead of the Dawgs in fourth.

Searcy has not been kind to the program while competing in the GAC. SWOSU is just 1-14 all-time on the road when facing Harding. The Bulldogs did take a game from a nationally ranked Harding squad last season at home in Weatherford but fell to the Bisons 2-1 in the series.

Around the league, SWOSU ranks fifth in both team batting average and earned run average.

The Dawgs are hitting .293 as a group led by Jadyn Hook's .382. Hook has five doubles and has driven in nine runs and leads the team in on-base percentage at .442. Maddie Rahon (.312) and Katie Boline (.303) are SWOSU's other hitters above .300. Rahon is two hits shy of Hook for the team lead, while Boline's three triples ranks her third in the GAC in the category.

In the circle, SWOSU has accumulated three conference pitcher of the week awards spread between Courtney Hill and Blaire Gentry. The team holds a 4.20 ERA. Gentry leads all arms with a 2.90 ERA in a team-leading 72.1 innings.

Harding – 15-9 overall on the year – ranks ahead of the Bulldogs both offensively and defensively. They are batting .310 as a team, second in the league, and hold a team ERA of 3.16 good for third in the GAC. Two bats are hitting over .400 in the everyday lineup – Jordan Cabana (.469) with a team high 22 RBI and Macy Ham (.422) with a team high 35 hits. Riley Price has logged 86.0 innings in the circle with a 3.01 ERA.
