WEATHERFORD – SWOSU Softball has announced the finalization of their 2024 spring schedule.
The Bulldogs will feature a 52-game schedule comprised of three non-conference tournaments, 21 home games, five home conference series, and another three midweek home doubleheaders.
The season gets underway February 2 at the Hawkins-McGhee Memorial Tournament in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Conference play begins February 23 at home against Ouachita Baptist. The GAC Tournament will be held May 2-4. SWOSU will be looking to qualify for the postseason tournament for the first time since 2019.
Last season, the Bulldogs finished 12-40 overall with a 7-26 mark in conference play. Head Coach Jessica Boone begins year two at the helm of the program with a roster of nine new faces and 12 returners.
Included in those returning are previous all-conference selections Maddie Rahon (2023) and Dani Carmo (2022).
