FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – SWOSU cross country went to Fayetteville, Arkansas to race in the Chile Pepper Invitational on Friday afternoon. They finished in 28
th place as a team.
SWOSU had more than one runner set their personal records at this event.
Hayley Whiteneck finished the race at 21:36.8.
Isabel Sanchez came in at 22:01.3 for her new best time.
Madisan Workman was timed at 22:51.1
Josilyn Schenk makes it three straight races in which she was the first racer across the finish line for SWOSU. She was clocked at a time of 20:45.9.
Cross country will be back on the trail again on October 8 when they race at the Mustang Open hosted by Midwestern State.
