- The two teams will play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 1:00 pm before concluding the series on Saturday, beginning at 11:00 am.
- SWOSU enters the series after going 1-3 last weekend against University of Arkansas-Monticello. - The Lady Bulldogs won the third game of the series on Saturday before UAM swept the series on Friday.
- The Lady Bulldogs are 2-6 overall and sit in eleventh in the Great American Conference.

Kim Maher (34-83, 3rd Season)

- Spent eight seasons as the head coach at Purdue University, leading the Boilermakers to 240 victories and two NCAA Tournament appearances from 2006-13
- Previously coached at Cal-Berkeley as an assistant coach from 2000-05 following a playing career with USA Softball and the Women's Professional Softball League (WPSL)
