ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - SWOSU Softball heads on the road this weekend to compete in a four-game Great American Conference series against Ouachita Baptist. Action takes place at the Sully Anderson Field with a doubleheader on both Friday and Saturday.
 
The Lady Bulldogs enter the weekend 6-13 overall and 5-7 in league play after going 3-1 last weekend against #1 Southern Arkansas in a conference series. This weekend, SWOSU be playing their fourth GAC matchup of the season against a Ouachita team that currently ranks fourth in the GAC standings after going 5-3 in league play.
 
SWOSU ranks second in homeruns in the GAC with 17 on the season. Samantha Householder has accounted for four of the 17 homeruns while also batting .302 and leading the team in RBI with 15. Hannah Morris, who just earned GAC Player of the Week for her stellar batting performance last weekend, has a batting average .345 with team high 20 hits and 16 runs. Kaytlin Donaldson adds 10 RBI on 15 hits coming in third with a batting average .341.
 
The Bulldogs pitching staff has committed 39 strikeouts on the season lead by Kaytlin Donaldson with 18 strikeouts. Miranda Grover adds 11 strikeouts to the line-up while Alisa Friesen has struck out 10 batters. On the season, Donaldson has gone 4-6 overall with a 5.43 ERA after having pitched 47.2 innings.
