Setting the Scene:
- SWOSU Soccer (5-3-1, 2-1-1 GAC) looks to keep its momentum from last Saturday's shutout victory over Ouachita into the new week when they take on a pair of in-state conference foes on Thursday and Saturday
- Thursday, the Bulldogs face a tough challenge against a one-loss Oklahoma Baptist squad in Shawnee who is currently sitting atop the conference standings with an undefeated league mark
- Saturday, SWOSU concludes the week by traveling to Bethany to take on Southern Nazarene
 
The Coaches: 
SWOSU: Mark Persson (85-63-16; 9th season)
- Since taking over the program in 2009, Persson has amassed a 85-63-16 record, becoming the all-time winningest coach in program history
- Persson has now led the Bulldogs to three regular season Great American Conference crowns and two GAC Tournament championships in the last five years
- A two time All-Conference Coach of the Year, Persson holds a 46-27-7 record in GAC play
- He has coached three All-Americans, 16 All-Region players, and numerous All-Conference players during his time in Weatherford
 
OBU: Mike White (90-63-9; 9th season)
- White took the helm for the Lady Bison in 2009, after being the assistant for two years
- Coach White's 2014 squad won the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament which led to the school's first ever NAIA National Tournament appearance
- In 2016, White and the Lady Bison finished as the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Runners-Up following a third-place finish in the Great American Conference
 
SNU: Julie Duncan (74-90-6; 8th season)
- Coach Duncan was the 2014 Great American Conference Coach of the Year after her team won the conference championship
- She has led the Crimson Storm to two SAC (NAIA) Conference Championships, including a runner-up finish in the NAIA National Championship game in 2009
- Duncan's coaching career began at Moore High School, where she coached the Moore girls' soccer program for 17 seasons

The Opponents
Oklahoma Baptist (8-1, 4-0 GAC)
- Enter Thursday's contest riding a five-game winning streak that started back on Sept. 18 following their lone loss to Midwestern State the game before
- Led offensively by a pair of scorers in Hannah White and Ruth King, having both netted a team-leading five goals
- Guarding the net for the Lady Bison is Emily Griffith, who has allowed nine goals in nine games with 19 saves while blanking three opponents along the way
 
Southern Nazarene (2-7, 0-3 GAC)
- After starting the year 2-1, SNU has lost its last six matches coming into the new week
- The Crimson Storm will take on Northwestern prior to Saturday's matchup with the Bulldogs
- Meagan Chase and Brianna Evans lead the team in scoring with three goals apiece for Southern Nazarene

Bulldog Facts
- Alimata Rabo netted a pair of goals last Saturday against Ouachita, giving her 10 total for the season which ranks Rabo tied for fifth in all of division II in scoring
- Sandra Nabweteme scored her second goal of the season against OUA
- Lexie Bates picked up her second shutout of the season with the 3-0 blanking of the Tigers, while it's the third time this season the Bulldog defense has held its opponent scoreless
- Last Thursday in SWOSU's 3-2 loss to Harding, Olivia Butler and Lauren Williams both notched their first goals of the season
- The Bulldogs will look to improve their road record during the upcoming three-game stretch away from home, currently holding a 1-2-1 overall record in games played outside of Weatherford
