Setting the Scene:
- SWOSU Soccer (9-3-3, 6-1-3 GAC) enters the final week of the regular season with its hopes of claiming the number-one seed and ability to host the conference tournament still in tact
- The Bulldogs will need a little help from Northwestern, needing the Rangers to take down Oklahoma Baptist on Wednesday for SWOSU to have a chance prior to their matchup with the Bison on Saturday
- If Oklahoma Baptist defeats the Rangers, they will claim the number-one seed and regular-season conference championship
- If the Bison lose or tie against NWOSU, it will open the door for SWOSU to control their own destiny
- Regardless of Oklahoma Baptist's outcomes, the Dawgs must win their own match on Thursday against Southern Nazarene or else the scenarios become null 
 
The Opponents
Southern Nazarene (4-11, 2-7 GAC)
- The Crimson Storm sit in last place in the GAC standings, mathematically out of playoff contention
- SWOSU will be in a must-win attitude when then take on SNU, needing a win over the Crimson Storm to keep their number-one seed hopes alive
- Last season, the Bulldogs faced Southern Nazarene in the last week of the regular season and were shutout 2-0
 
Oklahoma Baptist (13-1-2, 8-0-2 GAC)
- The Lady Bison can clinch the number-one seed and the GAC Tournament host with a win over Northwestern on Wednesday, prior to their matchup with SWOSU to close the season
- OBU has only lost one game all season, a 3-2 overtime loss to Midwestern State back on September 15
- Since then, they have compiled a 12-match unbeaten streak
- Ruth King ranks tied for third in the GAC with 10 goals scored and second in assists with seven this season

- Alimata Rabo is coming off of a six-goal week against Ouachita Baptist and Harding, which puts her atop of the NCAA Division II rankings for goals scored with 22 on the season
