Setting the Scene:
- The Bulldogs will play Randall University (formerly Hillsdale Baptist) at home Wednesday out at the Athletic Complex at 4 pm
- This will be the first time the two teams have met in SWOSU's Division II history
- This is the third non-conference game of the Bulldog's schedule and the first opponent outside of the Division II realm
The Coaches:

SWOSU: Mark Persson (68-55-12; 8th season)
- Since taking over the program in 2009, Persson has amassed a 68-55-12 record,
becoming the all-time winningest coach in program history
- Persson also led the Bulldogs to back-to-back GAC Championships in 2012 and 2013
- A two time All-Conference Coach of the Year, Persson holds a 37-24-7 record in GAC play
- He has coached one All-American, 12 All-Region players, and numerous All-Conference players during his time in Weatherford

Randall: Tony Willets (2nd season)
- Willets is in his second year coaching Randall
- In 2014, he assisted the Southwestern Christian Women's Soccer team for a season
- Before his collegiate coaching career Coach Willets coached soccer in Japan from 2008-11 on Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa
- At the club level, Coach Willets has worked with Canadian Valley Futbol Club, Edmond Soccer Club, Midwest City Soccer Club, and the Real Cuervo Futbol Club
The Opponent
- The University changed its name in 2016, previously known as Hillsdale Baptist Free Will College
- Randall is in its second year of having women's soccer as a sport
- Currently they are 0-3 in 2016 having lost to Southwestern Christian, St. Gregory's, and Southwestern (Kan.)

- Sunday, September 11 marks the first road game for SWOSU who will play Central Oklahoma in Edmond at 1 pm
