The Coaches:
SWOSU: Mark Persson (68-55-12; 8th season)
- Since taking over the program in 2009, Persson has amassed a 68-55-12 record, 
becoming the all-time winningest coach in program history
- Persson also led the Bulldogs to back-to-back GAC Championships in 2012 and 2013
- A two time All-Conference Coach of the Year, Persson holds a 37-24-7 record in GAC play
- He has coached one All-American, 12 All-Region players, and numerous All-Conference players during his time in Weatherford
 
Southern Nazarene: Julie Duncan (65-72-5; 7th season)
- Coach Duncan was the 2014 Great American Conference Coach of the Year after her team won the conference championship
- She has led the Crimson Storm to two SAC (NAIA) Conference Championships, including a runner-up finish in the NAIA National Championship game in 2009
- Duncan's coaching career began at Moore High School, where she coached the Moore girls' soccer program for 17 seasons
 
The Opponent
Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm (2-8, 1-3 GAC)
- SNU finished last season with an 8-11 record, finishing fourth in the GAC standings
- The Crimson Storm fell to Harding in the first round of the GAC Tournament
- Meagan Chase (4) and Hannah Robinson (3) lead the SNU attack, totaling seven goals scored so far this season between the two
- Southern Nazarene is currently in fifth place in the GAC standings in 2016
 
Bulldog Facts
- The Bulldogs suffered their first loss since the opening game of the season on Saturday against Harding, falling to second place in the GAC standings with their 3-1 record in league play
- SWOSU's two freshman forwards Alimata Rabo (15) and Sandra Nabweteme (12) account for 27 total goals scored this season
- Rabo still leads NCAA Division II with her 15 goals, despite not scoring one in the previous two matches
- Nabweteme now ranks tied for third in the NCAA with her 12 goals this season, and is tied for fourth with seven assists
- The Bulldog attack ranks first in the NCAA averaging 4.44 goals per game
- Courtney Flores and the SWOSU defense have shutout four opponents so far this season
