- A two time All-Conference Coach of the Year, Persson holds a 29-11-5 record against GAC opposition

- SWOSU can finish with as the second seed in the GAC Tournament with two wins if Ouachita drops their Thursday match against East Central. They can also reclaim the first seed if Harding falls to East Central on Saturday
- Harding have earned 28 points this year and will clinch the No. 1 seed and hosting rights to the GAC Tournament with a win against either Ouachita or East Central this week
- Sitting two points above SWOSU is Ouachita with 24 to their credit. The Tigers will need to win out and hope for one loss by the Bulldogs to own the No. 2 seed
