Setting the Scene
- SWOSU looks to improve on their 1-1 Great American Conference record when they make their only trip to Arkansas this weekend.
- They will face Harding (1-7, 1-0 GAC) on Friday at 6 PM in Searcy, Ark.
- On Sunday, the Bulldogs visit Ouachita Baptist (1-7-1, 0-1 GAC) in Arkadelphia, Ark. at 1 PM.

Last Time Out
- SWOSU had a three game home stand against West Texas A&M, Southern Nazarene and East Central.
- After dropping the first two games by a combined score of 8-1, SWOSU notched their first win of the season when they defeated East Central 1-0 in conference play.
- Olivia Butler and Shelley Mueller both scored their second goal of the season during the week. They are joint leading scorers.
- Butler's goal was the first game winning goal of her career. It came in the 86th minute when she curled in a corner kick unassisted.
- Courtney Flores recorded her first shutout of the season in the win. She now moves to third all-time in career shutouts with seven.

Bulldog Facts
- The Bulldogs move into third in the GAC with their win against ECU.
- SWOSU is one of only three conference teams to record a shutout this season. SNU (3) and ECU (1) are the other two.
- Cori Kelly is the tenth most active shooter in the conference. She averages 2.12 shots per game.
- Kelly scored her tenth career goal against Oklahoma Baptist and is now tied for ninth on the career goals list.
- Kelly also is tied for tenth for points in a career with 24.
- Butler is tied for ninth among active points leaders in the GAC with five (2g, 1a).
- Flores continues to lead the GAC in total saves with 50, averaging 6.25 per game.
- Flores is on pace to finish with 112 saves for the season, which would be the sixth best single season saves total in school history.
-With her three starts last week, Flores moved into a tie for fourth for keeper games started with 22.
- The Bulldogs took 18 shots in Saturday's contest against ECU, their highest total of the season.
- SWOSU is 0-2 on the road this season. 

The Coaches
Mark Persson
- This is Persson's 6th season in charge of the SWOSU soccer program.
- Since taking over the program in 2009, Persson has amassed a 54-42-9 record, 
good enough to become the all-time winningest coach in program history. 
- A two time All-Conference Coach of the Year, Persson holds an impressive 28-
16-4 in Great American Conference play. 
- He has coached six National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Region players, and numerous All-Conference players.

Dr. Greg Harris
- Dr. Harris enters his 14th season as head coach of the Lady Bison.
- During his tenure as head coach, Dr. Harris has amassed a 98-124-17 record, with a 46-53-7 mark in conference play.
- He is the reigning GAC Coach of the Year for his second place regular season and tournament finishes in 2013.
- Earned three Gulf South Conference women's Coach of the Year awards, and an additional one for men's soccer.
- Dr. Harris' teams have made eight postseason appearances, including a NCAA tournament appearance in 2004.
- He is 1-7 all time against Persson.

Kevin Wright
- Wright enters his third season as head coach of the Lady Tigers.
- Since taking over the program in 2012, Wright has earned a 22-21-3 record, going 9-9-1 in the GAC.
- In his first season, he led OBU to the GAC Championship where they lost to SWOSU 2-1.
- He has coached ten All-Conference and two All-Region selections.
- Wright's teams have qualified for the GAC tournament the last two years.
- He is 0-4-1 all time against Persson.

The Opponents
Harding
- The Lady Bison are currently 1-7 for the season, and 1-0 in conference play.
- Defeated Ouachita Baptist 6-1 last week to secure their first win of the season.
- Audrey Adkinson leads all Harding players with 13 points on the back of five goals and three assists.
- Adkinson score a hat trick and provided two more goals in the win over OBU.
- Kaitlyn Miller and Ashley Hudson have combined to make 46 saves, good for a .742 save percentage.
- The two keepers are averaging 1.97 goals against per game.
- Harding is 0-5 at home this season.

Ouachita Baptist
- The Lady Tigers sit at 1-7-1 heading into this week, and are 0-1 in the GAC.
- Last week they lost against Harding and Texas A&M International by a combined score of 9-2.
- Haley Hatcher leads OBU with 13 points courtesy of five goals and three assists.
- The goalkeeping trio of Emily Keith, Katy Alexander and Jessica McCauley have combined to make a GAC leading 76 saves.
- All together, the keepers are allowing 3.58 goals per game, the worst mark among GAC sides.
- OBU is 0-2 at home this season.
