Setting the Scene
- SWOSU goes on the road for a pair of conference matches after going 0-1-1 last week
- The Bulldogs first face Southern Nazarene (5-7, 3-2 GAC) Thursday night in Bethany, Okla., at 6 PM
- They will then travel to Ada, Okla., to take on East Central (4-5-2, 1-2-1 GAC) Saturday at 1 PM

Last Time Out
- The soccer team hosted Dallas Baptist and Northwestern Oklahoma State last Thursday and Sunday
- SWOSU dropped the first game against the Patriots 4-0
- The Bulldogs then drew the Rangers 0-0, earning a vital point in the Great American Conference standings
- Cori Kelly took a team high 10 shots against NWOSU, tying Courtney Hailey for the second most shots taken in an individual match
- After her five shots on goal in the match, Kelly moved into a tie for tenth all-time for shots on goal with Hailey
- Courtney Flores and the backline of Randa Castleberry, Charlotte Eastman, Alyssa Bagley and Lauren Williams picked up their second clean sheet of the season against NWOSU

The Coaches
Mark Persson
- This is Persson's 6th season in charge of the SWOSU soccer program
- Since taking over the program in 2009, Persson has amassed a 55-44-10 record, 
becoming the all-time winningest coach in program history
- A two time All-Conference Coach of the Year, Persson holds an impressive 29-
18-5 record in Great American Conference play
- He has coached six National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Region players, and numerous All-Conference players

Julie Duncan
- She has earned a 39-55-3 record while at Southern Nazarene 
- While under her direction, SNU has qualified for three Sooner Athletic Conference tournaments
- Duncan is 3-5-0 against Persson

Riley Bailey
- Bailey has led the Lady Tigers to a 33-52-10 record
- While at the helm, Bailey led ECU to the GAC regular season and tournament titles in 2011
- He is 2-6-1 against Persson

The Opponents
Southern Nazarene
-  The Crimson Storm is 5-7, going 3-2 in conference play
-  Since beating SWOSU 5-1, they have gone 2-3
- SNU has only played at home twice this season, splitting the matches 1-1
- The offense is flows through Mallary Pineda who has eight goals on the season
-  Her eight goals is currently the second best mark in the GAC, and she is tied for 33rd among all NCAA Divsion II scorers
- Goalkeeper Natasha Fuentes has a GAC leading three clean sheets and averages 4.25 saves per game

East Central
- The Tigers are now 4-5-2 for the season, with a 1-2-1 mark in conference play
- Since losing to SWOSU 1-0 earlier this season, ECU has gone 1-1
- Milan Galloway is the Tigers' leading scorer with four goals this season
- She is tied for the sixth most goals in the GAC, while averaging .36 goals per game
- Keeper Taylor Lowe has one shutout in 11 tries, averaging 4.55 saves per game

- The Bulldogs moved to 2-2-1 in the GAC after tying in their only conference match last week
- SWOSU currently sits in third on the table with seven points to their credit
- Harding leads the standings at 4-1 with 12 points
- Southern Nazarene sits two points above the Bulldogs in second place with nine points
- Ouachita Baptist is one point behind SWOSU in the final GAC tournament spot
- At the bottom of the table are ECU (fifth) and NWOSU (sixth)

- Kelly's 75 career shots are just eight short of Ashley McMahon for tenth all-time in career shot attempts
- Flores has now started 26 games in her career, and will tie Corey LaMoureaux for the top spot on the all-time goalie games started list with two more starts
- Her two clean sheets are the second best total in the GAC this season
- Olivia Butler is tied for fourth in assists in the GAC with three
- Shelley Mueller currently holds a .400 shooting percentage
- If she continues to convert at this clip, it will be the best percentage since Kira Bertrand's .400 in 2010
