WEATHERFORD – SWOSU Baseball moved up to No. 8 in this week's National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Central Region Rankings.
The Bulldogs climb two spots from No. 10 in last week's initial release.
SWOSU sits at 8-3 on the young season and 1-1 in Great American Conference play after splitting Sunday's doubleheader with defending regular season champion Arkansas Tech.
The offense continues to drive the early success. The Bulldogs are batting .371 as a team — first in the GAC, second in the Central Region, and ninth in Division II. Their 116 runs scored through 11 games rank ninth nationally and second in the region.
