ST. PAUL, Minn. – SWOSU Baseball senior designated hitter Bodi Wallar was named a Second Team All-Central Region selection by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) on Tuesday.
Wallar becomes the ninth SWOSU baseball player to earn a D2CCA All-Region nod. He hit .392 this season, ranked fourth in the conference, with 65 hits, including 12 doubles and eight home runs. Wallar drove in 46 runs, scored 30 times, and posted a .608 slugging percentage.
Earlier this month, he was voted a unanimous First Team All-Great American Conference selection and he earned the GAC's first player of the week honor back in February. Wallar closed out his senior season on a 17-game hitting streak and reached base safely in 29 consecutive games.
The D2CCA All-Region teams are voted on by College Sports Communicators (CSC) from the region, which comprises 39 baseball teams from the Northern Sun, Mid-America, and Great American conferences. 16 teams were represented, with eight teams earning multiple selections.

About the D2CCA
The Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-America and All-Region Baseball Teams are sponsored by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA). The teams are voted on by the members of D2SIDA, NCAA Division II Sports Information Directors Association. The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies, and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
