EDMOND, Okla. – SWOSU Men's Golf wrapped up another spring tournament, this time at the local Oak Tree Invitational where the Bulldogs finished 16th as a team.
SWOSU was led by
Lukas Hendricks whose second round 73 (+3) was the lowest score of any Bulldog in any round of the tournament. A 14-over par day in Tuesday's third round upended an otherwise strong performance by Hendricks.
Jack Phillips and
Ryan Carlisle each had one of their three rounds finish under 80 in the event – Phillips, a second round 78, and Carlisle, a third round 77.
Jeric Ortiz eagled on hole 12 in his opening round on Monday and finished three strokes back overall behind Carlisle on the leaderboard.
Conrado Diaz Ermacora rebounded with a solid 74 (+4) in his third round after carding an 89 and 88 in his first two rounds.
The Bulldogs won't break for long, with another scheduled tournament next week, March 24-25, in Wichita Falls, Texas at the MSU Men's Invitational hosted by Midwestern State.
