The SWOSU Men's Basketball team (10-11, 7-9 GAC) is riding a wave of momentum after taking down two top-five conference teams last week. They'll look to continue their winning ways at home when they host Northwestern on Thursday and Southeastern on Saturday, closing out a current four-game home stand.

In their previous matchup against NWOSU the Bulldogs fell just short in a 70-64 loss, missing a three-point shot to tie in the final seconds.

Northwestern (12-10, 9-7 GAC) sits one spot ahead of the Bulldogs in the standings, led by two of the GAC's top scorers. Cameron McDowell (25.9 ppg) leads the conference and ranks third in the nation in scoring, earning GAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the third time this season. He scored 38 and 39 points in the Rangers' two games last week, shooting 62.5%. Max Alexander adds 20.6 points per game, making them the only pair of teammates to average 20+ points per game in Division II. The Rangers' offense averages 75.4 ppg, but their defense allows 76.5 ppg, ranking 10th in the conference. They have the worst rebounding margin in the GAC (-4.1) but boast the best turnover margin (+3.18).

NWOSU holds a 15-12 edge over SWOSU dating back to 2011, although SWOSU has an 8-4 record in Weatherford.

Southeastern (8-14, 6-10 GAC) is tied with three other teams just below the Bulldogs in the standings, making every remaining game crucial for postseason implications. They host ECU on Thursday before traveling to Weatherford on Saturday. DJ Dill leads the team with 13.4 points per game, followed by Landon Condiff (12.2 ppg) and Daniel Halldorsson (11.2 ppg). Southeastern has the worst scoring defense in the conference, allowing 79.0 points per game, with opponents shooting 47% against them. They average the second-most rebounds per game (36.1 rpg) but have the worst turnover margin (-2.73 per game).

SWOSU won their earlier meeting with the Savage Storm 74-68 in Durant, but Southeastern still holds a 31-27 record over the Bulldogs since 1998. In Weatherford, SWOSU is 15-13.

The Bulldogs are 8-2 inside the Pioneer Event Center this season.

Tobias Roland (13.7 ppg), MJ Warrior (11.7 ppg), and Eli Al-Debaran (11.3 ppg) are the top scorers for SWOSU. Warrior dishes out 5.2 assists per game, one of only three players in the GAC with five or more assists per game. SWOSU's offense ranks 10th in the league, averaging 68.7 points per game, while their defense allows 71.3 ppg, ranking sixth in the GAC. The Bulldogs' defense success starts at the three-point line, where they are third in the league holding opponents to 32% from beyond the arc.
