WEATHERFORD – SWOSU Men's Basketball has announced the addition of nine student-athletes who will join the team for the 2024-25 school year.
It's the first full recruiting class under second year head coach Brett Weiberg. The class features nine total future Bulldogs – six who will join as freshman and another three juco transfers who will all be juniors. Five of the nine hail from Oklahoma including a local signee from Weatherford High School.
"I am very pleased with our 2024-25 signing class," said Weiberg. "We had a few specific needs like shooting, length, and size and I feel we addressed that with the young men that we signed."
SWOSU was picked 11th in the GAC preseason poll last season and eventually finished sixth in the league, which qualified them for the postseason tournament in Weiberg's inaugural season at the helm. The Bulldogs lose four contributing seniors from last year's roster including First Team All-GAC selection Ben Smith.
"Our big picture goal was to not only bring the best possible players to Weatherford and SWOSU, but also to find the right people and we feel that we have done that. Each person in this recruiting class is a high-level teammate, student, and person. They are a group of winners and competitors who are an excellent fit with our returners."

"Cade is a long, skilled wing that can shoot the ball. He has a high-level basketball IQ and will bring much needed length and skill to the perimeter. Cade is a competitor, a good teammate, and a good person. His father is a longtime and successful basketball coach. Basketball is in his blood."
"Kray is a tough combo guard that can play on and off the ball, and can also shoot the basketball and really competes. He is a state champion and has played for Coach Scott Hines, a Hall of Fame basketball coach. Kray's mother is a high-level coach and SWOSU Basketball alum. Kray is tough and has a will to win. He's a good person and will be fun to coach."
"Tucker is a big time 3-pt shooter. He is quite possibly the best 3-pt shooter in the 2024 Oklahoma senior class. He is a legit 6'4 and still growing. Tucker has a high basketball IQ and played for Coach Parker at Perkins. He led his high school team to their first ever state tournament appearance. Tucker is a good person with length and toughness."
"We are very excited about Nate. He is a winner that has played in three state tournaments and two state championship games. He competes at a high level and has made so many winning plays through the course of his high school career. Nate has been well coach by Derrick Bull and will bring toughness and a championship pedigree to our 2024 class. He is a great teammate, and he will be great for Bulldog Basketball."
"Spencer is a long, skilled forward that plays hard and competes at a high level. He has played in the highest level of high school competition in Australia. Spencer has a good feel for the game and plays with a good amount of physicality and toughness. He can shoot and rebound the ball and will be very versatile for us. He's also a good person and will be a great teammate."
"I am very pleased that Grayson has chosen to be apart of our Bulldog Basketball family. Grayson is a hard-nosed, tough, physical presence. He has had a very good high school career and while he is already a good player, I believe that his best days are ahead of him. Grayson played for Coach Templin at Mooreland."
"Tobias is a great competitor. We were looking for a skilled and tough wing with size and we found it in Tobias. He had a great season at NEO. He is a very versatile guard that has good physical size and strength. Tobias can shoot the ball and will bring much needed experience to our guard rotation. Jeremy Jackson does a great job at NEO. I am very pleased that Tobias chose SWOSU and Bulldog Basketball."
"I am very pleased that EJ is a Bulldog. EJ brings length and athleticism to our perimeter and will be very versatile on both ends of the floor for us. He is a very good player, but more importantly a great person who played for a very good coach in Coach Chavez at Bakersfield. Bulldog fans will enjoy watching and rooting for EJ for the next two years."
"Dini is a long forward that has a very solid skill set. He can score in the post and make threes and will be able to cover multiple positions on the defensive side of the ball. Dini played for the legendary Rolando De La Barrera at Western Oklahoma. He has a high motor and will be a great teammate and representative of SWOSU and Bulldog Basketball."
