STILLWATER, Okla. – Behind a Women's All-Around title from
Cheyenne VandeStouwe, SWOSU Women's Rodeo won the second event of the fall season over the weekend at Oklahoma State.
Meanwhile, the men finished 12th highlighted by
Brody McAbee's tie for fifth place in the average of Saddle Bronc.
It's the second win in the all-around this season for VandeStouwe. She won the long round and the average in Goat Tying and was second in the average in Breakaway Roping thanks to a tie for first in its long round.
The women got fifth place finishes from three others at OSU –
Chenoa VandeStouwe in Goat Tying,
Shyann Gates in Breakaway, and
Braylee Ward in Barrel Racing. Chenoa had the best round finish of the three when she tied for third in the short round with a 7.6 second run.
With four fall rodeos in the books, SWOSU will wrap up the semester October 31-November 2 at Northwestern Oklahoma State.
