WEATHERFORD, Okla. – SWOSU Volleyball played their first home game of the season on Thursday night, winning 3-1 over Southeastern inside the Pioneer Cellular Event Center.
The win moves the Bulldogs to 2-0 in league play, 7-3 overall, and wraps up a successful opening week of play in the GAC.
The tone was set from the get-go against the Savage Storm. SWOSU blew by the visitors 25-9 to take command of the match early behind six total service aces and a nine-point spurt that started the set off.
Southeastern woke up in the second set and jumped out to a lead before the Bulldogs mounted a middle-set comeback and was able to finish strong. They went on to win 25-22 after overcoming a 12-7 deficit.

For the night, SWOSU hit .257 and got double-digit kill production from Lacy Mott (14), Maicee Morgan (11) and Zoey Sparks (10).
