WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Anders Strand (men’s golf) and Drew Dodgion (women’s golf) have been named the newest Bulldogs of the Week. This award is brought to you by Wright Wradio, the official partner of SWOSU Athletics for both livestream and radio.
Strand (Solrod Strand, DK) brought his A game on the course at The Mule last week. He finished with a score of 211 after three rounds of play. This put him T-5 in the standings and propelled the Bulldogs to fifth place in the tournament. His first two rounds put him in a great position, shooting two sub-70 rounds at 69 and 68. This tournament marks the fourth straight that Strand has been at the top of the Bulldog finishers.
Dodgion (Guthrie, OK) led the pack for the Lady Bulldogs at her last tournament. She shot a 159 over both rounds to finish at the top of SWOSU’s board at T-12. She shot the lone round in the 70s by SWOSU, when she 78 in her second round. This is her second time leading the Lady Dawgs at the conclusion of a tournament this spring.
