WEATHERFORD – Brandt O'Connor and Cheyenne VandeStouwe of SWOSU Rodeo have been named the Bulldogs of the Week, presented by Wright Media — the official partner for SWOSU athletic livestreams and radio broadcasts.

O'Connor (Blair, Okla.) tied for second in the Team Roping average at the Garden City rodeo, matching his best finish of the season. Competing alongside a roper from Garden City CC, O'Connor posted a 7.5-second run in the long round before clocking a 6.1-second time in the short go to tie for first in the round and secure a second-place finish in the average.

VandeStouwe (Inwood, Iowa) captured her third Goat Tying average title of the season at Garden City, recording runs of 6.7 and 6.0 seconds. Her 6.0-second performance in the short round earned her the round win and clinched the average title. She helped lead the SWOSU women's team to its fifth consecutive rodeo victory.
