WEATHERFORD, Okla. – SWOSU Football will play its annual Blue vs White Spring Game on Friday, March 31 at 6:00 pm.
SWOSU Residence Life will also be set up just inside the stadium confines offering free hot dogs and hamburgers beginning at 5:00 pm prior to the game.
The Spring Game is the final stage of spring action for the Bulldogs, who have conducted two full weeks' worth of practice leading up to the game. SWOSU will be split up into Offense vs. Defense, playing four 15-minute quarters with a running clock.
Spring Game Scoring Format
- 3 and Out: +3 Defense
- Stop a Drive: +1 Defense
- Interception: +5 Defense
- Fumble Recovery: +5 Defense
- Sacks: +2 Defense
- Offensive TD: +6 Offense
- Extra points: +1 Offense
- Field Goal: +3 Offense
It will be Interim Head Coach
Ruzell McCoy's first time on the sidelines as the head man since taking over the program in January. SWOSU Football will also host Junior Day earlier in the afternoon where registered class of 2024 recruits will showcase their skills in front of the coaching staff.
SWOSU opens the 2023 season on Thursday, August 31 at home against Ouachita Baptist who will more than likely be ranked in the top-25 polls when the season begins.
