WEATHERFORD – SWOSU Football head coach
Andrew Rice and his coaching staff announced Wednesday the addition of 18 student-athletes on National Signing Day. The group joins 14 mid-year enrollees to complete SWOSU's officially announced 32-member signing class of 2026.
"We're really excited about the class we've signed," said Rice. "It's a group that reflects the progress we're making as a program and the standard we expect at SWOSU — on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. These young men bring great effort, attitude, and tempo, and we're excited to get them to the Hilltop."
Rice continued. "I also want to thank our coaching staff and the SWOSU administration for their continued support. The momentum we're building doesn't happen without their commitment to this program."
The Bulldogs will welcome 18 incoming freshmen next fall, pairing them with 14 transfers who have already joined the program as mid-year enrollees for the 2026 spring semester. Of the 32 student-athletes signed, 16 are on the offensive side of the ball, 14 on defense, one on special teams, and one designated as an athlete with no specific position assignment. Fifteen members of the signing class hail from the state of Oklahoma.
