WEATHERFORD – Maicee Morgan (volleyball) and Rees Berkey (women’s basketball) are the newest Bulldogs of the Week. The weekly recognition is brought to you by Wright Wradio, home of SWOSU Athletics for both livestream and radio.

Morgan (Edmond, Okla.) played well in her final regular season games as a Bulldog. She had a season high 13 kills against Oklahoma Baptist on Monday night. Then on her Senior Night, accumulated a team high nine kills in a 3-0 sweep of rival Northwestern Oklahoma State. As the lone senior for SWOSU volleyball, she leads them into the GAC Tournament this week, when they take on East Central in the first round. 

Berkey (Hydro, Okla.) had a great opening weekend to kick off her Lady Bulldog career. She is the team’s leading scorer through two games after the GAC/MIAA Challenge this weekend. She netted a team high 14 points and grabbed five rebounds off the bench to help lead SWOSU to a 63-58 win over Washburn in Friday's season opener.
